JAVEA
Our private house is situated in Javea (also known
as Xabia and pronounced Havea) which is halfway between
The port area is a maze of narrow streets leading to a beautiful
palm lined promenade with superb views across the bay. Apart from the normal
array of shops the port area contains dozens of bars and restaurants.
The Arenal is a wide sandy beach with palm trees for shade and
lined with an array of beach bars, shops, snack bars and restaurants.
The old town is the historic part of Javea with tight
balconied streets and a thriving Thursday market.
Javea is a low rise town/resort with little or no package
tour business. It consists mainly of privately owned villa and apartments

OF OUR HOUSE
Our house is 1 minutes walk from the sea and 7
minutes walk to the centre of the port area. The popular Arenal beach is only
fifteen minutes stroll along the beach road, whilst the old town lies inland
behind the port, and is fifteen minutes walk away.
Four supermarkets are within walking distance with the
nearest being less than 5 minutes away.
Communal pool, squash and restaurant complex are 3 minutes
walk away.
THE
HOUSE
Our house sleeps four in air-conditioned comfort. It
has a large lounge diner, a good sized kitchen/diner, downstairs shower room
and WC plus a large bathroom with shower.
Bedroom 1 is a large air conditioned double with a totally
secluded south facing terrace for that all over tan!
Bedroom 2 is a good sized air conditioned twin with a
northwest facing terrace which gets evening sun. It has an excellent sea view!
Kitchen contains all the usual modern conveniences
including a fridge freezer, separate hob and oven, a washing machine and
microwave.
Lounge/Diner is air conditioned ( with additional ceiling
fan ) with contents including a leather suit and Victorian bookcase bureau.
Electrical creature comforts include a large Satellite TV
with numerous free to air English language channels plus a decent Hifi
system.
Outside we have a large covered terrace and a smallish
garden adorned with numerous tubs and plants. In addition there is a 25 square
metre secluded terrace for topping up that tan. Sun and shade is available in
equal measures.
Our house also has access to a large, private communal
pool ( with a separate children pool ) and squash court. An enlarged childrens pool and a Jacuzzi are being added during 2005.
NIGHTLIFE
If you want discos, Javea is not for you. The resort is for
wining, dining and strolling. For the young at heart some lively bars with live
bands can be found in the Arenal area

An initial reservation deposit of £150 will
be required at time of booking.
A £100 damage deposit will be added to you
final invoice. A full refund will be made on confirmation that no damage, or
exceptional cleaning charges, has been incurred.
